Richard Lund made this image for a major channel in England some years ago by the technique he called "taking pictures without a camera/" The soft and subtle look were colorized to match the graphics of the station involved. This image is just part of a larger panorama. And it retains just the neutrals from the original design. He now is using it for as one of his backgrounds for his personal social media production.

Richard Lund entered the film industry in 1980. He did specialized photography making background pictures for motion pictures and television. He shot 8x10 plates for his first movie in Riverside California. The film was Buddy, Buddy directed by Billy Wilder and starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. He printed the pictures with a crew on Kodak Translite film. Thus began his career. Personally he photographed large format images for 240 feature films and a lot of television. Additionally he supervised production of about two thousand background pictures.
